Task: Create a landing page concept based on a person or company of choice — that could use a website.

Pitch: Alaqua Cox is an awesome woman for many reasons. Or at least that’s my impression. I’ve never met her. She seems to be an exceptional person and for that reason I was sad to see that she did not have a website. The Wisconsin Native put on a phenomenal performance in the Hawkeye series and she needs a site to remind folks how badass she is. I wonder if they allow her to sell anything of her own outside the series. Either way, having a personal website as an artist helps you in many ways.

Results: I went off of her character’s style to make the site. Echo is this silent killer type and rocks these all black fits on the reg. I brought in some other muted colors to give the page some depth, using red as the accent color. I initially planned this as a launch page for her upcoming show but it could be adjusted to include other sections. The focus for my page here is to draw visitors to her social media channels, and to give them insights into her starring role in the Marvel Universe. Alaqua’s show Echo finally has an official release date — January 9, 2024 at 8pm CST on Disney+!
